Recently there has been much media attention surrounding the distribution of Latisse without prescription or discussion of possible side effects.
This is not the policy at the Facial Cosmetic Center at Ohio ENT.
“We do not dispense prescription drugs without discussing the side effects and contraindications with patients,” said facial plastic surgeon David Powell, MD. “In this case, Latisse is a drug and we only dispense it to patients with their overall health in mind. We also suggest that patients should, with all prescription drugs, read the insert containing warnings and precautions.”
Dr. Powell also recommends to stop using Latisse if patients notice adverse reactions and to use this product only as instructed. For more information about Latisse or to speak with the Facial Cosmetic Center at Ohio ENT call 538-2424.
